Inter-comparison and calibration workshop/experiment 

PTI-TELEDETECT WP6

The Inter-comparison and calibration workshop/experiment, open to TELEDETECT  and AET members, will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas and experience in the use of spectroradiometers and cameras (field and UAV mounted sensors) for in situ and proximal sensing.

Inter-comparison of instruments as well as vicarious calibrations are planned where participants will be actively involved. Presentation/discussion sessions are also scheduled to informally exchange experiences and debate potential collaborations. The workshop/experiment will be held at “El Socorro experimental farm”   where research activities are carried out  in the wine sector, offering also technical and educational support to the sector as a whole within the Community of Madrid.

The Workshop is organised in 2 days where day 1 will be dedicated to technical presentations, discussion and indoor experimentation while day 2 will be decated to outdoor experiments related with field spectroscopy: inter-comparison of spectroradiometers and UAV sensors: inter-comparison and vicarious calibration using low cost panels 

Participation: researchers from: PTI-TELEDETECT, AET (Asociación Española de Teledetección), Departamento de Física de la Tierra y Termodinámica (Univ de Valencia), GEOINCA (Universidad de Leon), INIA-QUETLAB, ONERA (The Office National d’Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales, France) and  MAX PLANCK Institute (Germany)
